Integrated communications agency Tigerbond has bolstered its presence in northern England by appointing a new Associate Director.
Emma Streets, who brings over two decades of experience to the table, will serve as the company’s inaugural Head of the North. In this role, she will not only contribute to the crisis and corporate communications team but also play a pivotal role in empowering teams in Leeds and Manchester. Her responsibilities include driving positive change and providing mentorship to professionals across the entire UK business.
Streets boasts a diverse skill set spanning various industries and communication channels, including social media, crisis management, and online reputation management. With a background in integrated brand and specialized PR agencies, she has led communication programs for national and global clients across sectors such as FMCG, ecommerce, logistics, maritime, and the not-for-profit sector. Prior to joining Tigerbond, Streets spent four years as the head of PR and reputation management at one of the UK’s largest delivery companies, Evri.
Rachel Gladwin, co-founder of Tigerbond, expressed enthusiasm about Streets’ appointment, emphasizing the agency’s commitment to nurturing and expanding its presence in the region.
Commenting on her new role, Streets said, “I’m thrilled to join the Tigerbond team. It’s inspiring to be part of an agency that is dedicated to embracing and enhancing its northern roots, particularly in a time where the convergence of online and traditional PR practices is crucial, especially in crisis and corporate communications.”
Established in 2021 following a management buyout, Tigerbond is a full-service communications agency with offices across England, Scotland, and Ireland, as well as a joint venture – tartanbond – in Canada. The agency, comprising 100 staff members, was recognized as one of Campaign’s Best Places to Work in the UK last year, ranking 5th out of 100 agencies. Additionally, it was named a DE&I Finalist in the Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards.
