British footwear retailer Schuh has strengthened its senior leadership team with the appointment of Stephanie Legg as its new chief marketing officer and Justin Lodge as chief digital officer.
The move comes as the high street brand looks to bolster its ambitions to become a go-to shopping destination for socially-conscious students, Gen Z and the soon-be financially viable Generation Alpha.
Legg will bring more than two decades of experience to her new role, having worked across a wide range of sectors including fashion, fin-tech, retail, FMCG, utilities and entertainment. She previously spent over a decade at Arcadia.
“It is more important than ever that we make our customer touchpoints as seamless and inspiring as possible, which can be demanding in this ever-changing marketplace,” Schuh president Colin Temple said.
“I am delighted to have two new leaders bringing a wealth of experience that will continue to deliver growth for Schuh.”
Joining from Superdry where he was CMO, Lodge will draw from an extensive background in global e-commerce and operating regional store networks to help Schuh’s growth goals. Prior to his time at Superdry, Lodge was Boohoo’s international director.
