Five Latvian startups are set to make their mark at TechChill Milano, scheduled to take place from September 25-27 in Milan, Italy. These innovative startups will be featured at the “Latvia’s startup frontiers meet Italy” side-event, generously sponsored by the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) at Cascina Triulza in Milan at 16:00 on September 25, according to organizers.
TechChill, a startup conference originating in the Baltic region, returns to Milan for the second time. As part of the rapidly expanding Baltic startup ecosystem, Latvian startups will share their unique insights and ideas with Italian startups and potential investors.
The five Latvian companies participating in the event include:
- ATOM Tech: A platform dedicated to launching and scaling micro-mobility solutions, focusing on vehicle sharing (scooters, bikes, cars, mopeds), digital rentals (long-term car rental), and ride-hailing services.
- Longenesis: A leading secondary health data and RWE (Real World Evidence) ecosystem in the EMEA region, connecting Life Science companies with healthcare institutions and patients to facilitate the development of novel drugs and therapies.
- Cellbox Labs: A biotech startup that has developed innovative organ-on-a-chip technology to expedite drug development, making it more efficient.
- BirgerMind: A standalone hardware and software platform designed to empower fully paralyzed patients, enabling them to communicate, access social networks, generate speech, and manage various applications independently, even with closed eyes, both indoors and outdoors.
- Swotzy: A SaaS (Software as a Service) shipping software designed to help eCommerce businesses optimize their shipping strategies by selecting the most suitable carriers for deliveries, all without the complexity of managing contracts, integrations, and relationships.
Additionally, the event will highlight success stories from the Latvian startup community, illustrating how they have contributed to building an ecosystem that enhances global competitiveness.
TechChill originated in Riga, Latvia, in 2012 and has since grown to attract over 2,500 attendees. It played a pivotal role in establishing the Baltic ecosystem’s presence on the European startup map. After celebrating its 10th anniversary, TechChill expanded its reach beyond Latvia’s borders.
